Hoya made some nice quality metal hoods in various sizes. Looking forward to you guys in my next video and have a Great Day! I prefer the 85mm focal length, but I love this lens already. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get some great shots out of a cheaper lens but one that still has great quality! You don't really need a hood on the 50 with its recessed front element. In the light photography or night photography, you can avoid the interference of light into the lens. When I feel the need say to shade a polarizer out on the front of the lens I use a cheap rubber hood. The sharpness of image and overall quality absolutely blew me away! Features: Designed to accommodate the exact angle of view of the camera's lens. This hood is sold as Hakuba or Marumi brand in Japan and there should be the same ones out in the States or Europe.
